Length Check

So it has been about 6 weeks since I flat ironed my hair last. I did some research online about which flat irons worked best on unrelaxed African American hair. All signs pointed to the Sedu Revolution Pro Nano Ceramic Tourmaline 1 inch flat iron. So I bought it. Ran me about $100, but I figured it would be a good investment. It was! I did my regular wash and condition then I detangled with Paul Mitchell leave-in conditioner. I blow dried right away….If I let it dry first, it’s so hard to get the blow dryer through it :-) But anyway, it took about 2 hours to get it all straightened (granted, I was watching tv and skyping it up with the “roomie” but this is why I don’t flat iron as often). It turned out great though. It came out really straight. The flat iron is slender ANDDDD I got caught in a little rain the next day and it didn’t puff up. I did use a heat protectant this time, which is something I normally don’t do. It has really grown; it is almost back to the length that it used to be when I had my last relaxer….I plan to post a blog about the specific products I use, I’m a definite product junkie….More details to come
